Vipassana can be learnt by attending a 10-day residential course. 10-day courses usually start on 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month. All courses around the world have uniform teaching material in popular languages of the world. The recorded instructions and Video Discourses in Hindi & English in S N Goenkaji’s voice are used for the course.
Every year, apart from more than twenty 10-day courses other special courses like the Sati Patthanna, 2-day and 3-day courses only for old students are hosted regularly. To master the technique & keep gaining maximum benefits one can attend courses of longer duration of 20, 30, 45 and 60 days. There are certain prerequisites before one can take up such courses.
Every Sunday there is a 1-day course only for old students from 10 am to 4 pm. No prior registration is required.
Additionally the centre organizes AT workshop & Dhamma-Server workshop every year.
Old students may attend part-time courses with prior permission during a 10-day course. The pleasant climate of Bengaluru makes Dhamma Paphulla attract students from all over the world.
Course schedules are published well in advance. After reading and committing to adhere to the Code of Discipline one may apply online for a course. Admission is by confirmed registrations only.
It is mandatory to disclose if one is practicing any other techniques currently or in past & about any physical or mental health issues. This technique is focused only on the purification of the mind. Better physical health is a natural by-product. While joining the course, the motive should not be to cure any physical ailment.
The centre is not connected with any religious organization. The courses are non-sectarian & non-discriminatory, open to all, irrespective of religion, caste, gender or socio-economic status. Persons who have completed 20 years of age may apply for a course.
